DION
Dion, the holy city of the ancient Macedonians, dedicated to Zeus and the twelve mythical gods of the Mount Olympus, situated at a very close distance from the hotel. Dion was where the brilliant military leader Alexander the Great launched his campaign to Asia. Here you can find an Archaeological Park and an Archaeological Museum. At a very close distance, do not miss to visit and have a swim at the Orlias waterfalls.
LITOCHORO
This traditional village is only 9 kilometers from the hotel. It is the starting point for your getaways to the Mount Olympus.
PALAIOS PANTELEIMONAS
A traditional settlement with houses built of stone, narrow pedestrian streets, artisan shops and traditional restaurants and it is located 22 kilometers from the hotel.
CASTLE OF PLATAMON
Is a Crusader medieval fortress, built between 1204 and 1222 and its tower overlooks the valley of Pieria and offers breathtaking views to the Mount Olympus.
CITY OF KATERINI AND PARALIA
The capital of Pieria region is just about a 16km ride from the hotel. With a long commercial pedestrian street which offers a large shopping selection, upscale cafes, restaurants and bars, you will be able to feel the Greek way of life. Paralia is the beachfront of Katerini and offers shopping possibilities and night entertainment.
VERGINA
Vergina and the Ancient City of Aigai, first capital of the Macedonians, burial site of King Philippos II, father of Alexander the Great, and the place that Alexander the Great was proclaimed King, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site full of history. It is just one hour drive from the hotel.
METEORA
Meteora is a world famous rock formation in central Greece hosting one of the largest and most precipitously built complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries. Six monasteries that are built on immense natural pillars and hill-like rounded boulders that dominate the local area. Meteora are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List and will offer you a lifetime experience. You can reach them with an approximate 2 hours drive.
